Plymouth Sound

The Plymouth Sound is one of the biggest natural harbours in UK. It will soon become the first National Marine Park, a new badge that certifies the incredible biodiversity of the marine life within the Sound and its intertidal esturaies. Full of history and fortifications dating from the Napoleonic wars and WWI & WWII, the Sound offers an interesting perspective for exploring Plymouth from the water and reach out to explore the attractive Cornish coastline stretching from Cremyll to the seaside villages of Kingsand and Cawsand nestled within Cawsand Bay.
